The greenery of the park spreads out colonizing the empty spaces between elements. Urban connections are created, suggesting alternative paths between the buildings. The project proposes four volumes with a central patio, achieving a very compact form and permitting the possibility of transforming the patio into a large heat sink. The volumes connect at the ground level to allow a shared ecosystem that includes exchange spaces for commerce and productive activities on the path from the street home. Each building and dwelling is a coexistence unit (there’s no hierarchy between elements). The certainty that there’s many ways of inhabiting, sharing and defining a home takes us to define a stable module that becomes the unit of measurement. That’s how we introduce flexibility in the composition of a habitat able to occupy whatever space it needs, now or in the future, allowing again the exchange among neighbors.
